Timelapse1
This is my fourth series of video assets and the first of several focusing on documenting Los Angeles. Because of the diverse nature of Los Angeles' architecture, culture and population, it's difficult to pin down something as being quintessential, or even typical, to LA. Keeping that in mind, I'm making an effort to find things that everyone in Los Angeles sees and can identify with in one way or another. In this series, I've tried to focus on the way nature (palm trees, clouds, sunsets) interacts with LA's sprawling infrastructure (roads, street lamps, telephone poles, etc.).
Above this text is a "highlight reel" demonstrating how my video assets (shown below) can work together as layers and can be set to react to sound level, frequencies, and rhythm. Thanks to Jun Tiangco for to contributing his music. You can find all the cool stuff Jun is doing (video, art, music) here: j2t3.com/
Below this text is a gallery of individual videos or "assets" which I layer together during live performances. As always all my videos available for download, for free, from my vimeo page.
