At the Gate is a short video I created for the 2013 Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) Staff Film Festival.

This video is made up of composited layers of sound reactive video clips that I captured at Bell Sound Studios (bellsound.com), with lots of help from Marilyn Morris, one of Bell's engineers. The clips are created from original video I shoot, then manipulate in Final Cut Pro. The clips are then played back in Modul8, with sound reactivity and other effects enabled. I captured the video output from Modul8 at Bell Sound, then composited multiple captures in FCP. The music was created with the help of Brian Haack, who also worked with me on the music for LACMA's German Expressionist Cinema exhibit.
